Aarhus, Denmark
The sun shines most of the day
and night here at this time of year,
which, along with the jet lag, was a bit confusing to the kids!
At about 2AM, they both woke up, bright eyed and bushy-tailed,
and
proceeded to keep Jennie and I up until around 5, trying to convince
us that it's morning by opening the curtains to show us that it
was light outside.
"Go back to sleep, it's 3AM" didn't mean a lot to them!
...and that was the beginning of a VERY full day!

We met up this morning with our very good friend John Kjøller,
from the Danish
A Cappella group baSix (www.basix.dk),
and he showed us around town!

First stop, the candy store of course (gotta give them a reason
for walking so much!)

We also went into a small museum with the ancient history of this
1300 year old city.
"The bones are brown because they are old" Katie wants
you all to know.

Down by the river, we're going to meet up with the rest of baSix
for lunch

And here they are! Jakob, Neils, John, Anders, Tøke and
Peter. Even though I've
been working with them for a few years now, this it the first
time I've ever seen
all of them at once!

We take a walk throught the old cathedral in Aarhus.

Grandpa goes off his diet

The girls became quick buddies with the baSix guys - they thought
Peter was a giant!

We all pile into the baSix band bus to tour some more!

Katie likes the tour van!
